18. Alex Corretja
There are plenty of clay court specialists, but Corretja really comes into his own on the red stuff. His record at Roland Garros is formidable, and although his recent form is patchy, he cannot be written off. A hard-worker, his terrific on-court industry means he never gives up without a fight. He has been on the tour since the age of 16, when he won the Junior Orange Bowl tournament - but is yet to win that elusive Grand Slam title.
