6. Tim Henman

DOB: 06.09.1974
Nationality: British
World Ranking: 6
Previous French Open results:
2001 :: third round
2000 :: third round
1999 :: third round
1998 :: first round

Clay courts and Henman just don't seem to mix although the British number one and coach Larry Stefanki believe that could be changing.

His clay-court debut of the season showed the first signs that his game is now coping with the rigours of the surface.

He reached the semi-finals in Monte Carlo but was defeated by Carlos Moya.

He has already won in Adelaide this year and reached the final in Rotterdam and Indian Wells and remains one of the form players of the ATP Tour.

At 28, his opportunities of winning a Grand Slam are running out but he still remains arguably the game's greatest current serve and volleyer.
