Top seeds win women's doubles

Virginia Ruano Pascual and Paola Suarez beat Russians Svetlana Kuznetsova and Elena Likhovtseva in the Australian Open women's doubles final.
Spain's Ruano Pascual and Argentina's Suarez won 6-4 6-3 to clinch their fifth Grand Slam title together.
The top seeds were only broken once, while serving for the match at 5-2, but rallied to complete victory.
The US Open champions and world number ones were playing in their eighth straight Grand Slam final.
