Fourth set

Henman 6-0 Stepanek
The Czech at least makes Henman work for his place in the third round, and the Briton saves three break-points before finally clinching victory with a trademark serve and volley.

Henman 5-0 Stepanek
Stepanek has pretty much thrown in the towel and Henman will have the chance to whitewash him in this set as he breaks for a third time.

Henman 4-0 Stepanek
The Briton can now start thinking about round three as he once more holds to love. Sp> Henman 3-0 Stepanek
Stepanek seems to be losing belief now, and hands Henman another break with a double-fault.

Henman 2-0 Stepanek
Henman's serve is almost untouchable and he holds to love for the sixth time in the match.

Henman 1-0 Stepanek
Stepanek again finds himself break-point down but hits a rasping cross-court forehand that seems to have won the point. Somehow Henman reaches it and pulls off a remarkable drop-shot half-volley to break.

Third set

Henman 6-3 Stepanek
Henman shows ice-cool nerve and takes the set by firing in an unreturnable serve to hold.

Henman 5-3 Stepanek
The Czech player keeps his composure and at least makes Henman serve out for the set.

Henman 5-2 Stepanek
The standard remains high, and Henman's serve is clicking nicely as he moves within a game of taking the third set.

Henman 4-2 Stepanek
Henman takes his opponent to deuce but is unable to force the second break that would surely make this third set safe.

Henman 4-1 Stepanek
Serves are now back on top and Henman wins a love-game.

Henman 3-1 Stepanek
Stepanek steadies the ship with an easy hold.

Henman 3-0 Stepanek
The Briton is now playing more like he was at the start of the match and he holds comfortably.

Henman 2-0 Stepanek
Henman earns a break-point and, after seeing his opponent save five crucially in the last game, he is relieved to see Stepanek dump an easy overhead into the net to concede the break.

Henman 1-0 Stepanek
A strange service game for Henman, who fires two aces but chucks in two double-faults for good measure.

Second set

Henman 4-6 Stepanek
The tension mounts as a marathon game unfolds - Henman moves 15-40 ahead but blows both break-points. He then saves a set-point before earning and missing three more chances to break. Finally Stepanek has another set-point and takes it to level the match.

Henman 4-5 Stepanek
Henman holds easily this time, but the momentary lapse of concentration earlier means that Stepanek will now have the chance to serve for the set.

Henman 3-5 Stepanek
Stepanek is in no mood to hand back the break and serves out to love.

Henman 3-4 Stepanek
Henman is not helped by an unfortunate net cord, but he throws in a couple of loose forehands and Stepanek has the break.

Henman 3-3 Stepanek
There's little between the two players now as Stepanek secures his third hold in a row.

Henman 3-2 Stepanek
Henman fires down his first ace of the match as he again holds comfortably.

Henman 2-2 Stepanek
Stepanek again shows what he's capable of, this time with a perfect backhand pass, and the set is going with serve.

Henman 2-1 Stepanek
The Briton's first serve is letting him down, but his ground strokes are sharp and he holds to love.

Henman 1-1 Stepanek
Stepanek is under pressure at 30-30, but a fine volley and a ripped passing shot see him safely through.

Henman 1-0 Stepanek
Henman throws in his first double-fault of the match, but he still gets on the board in the second set and is dominating proceedings.

First set

Henman 6-2 Stepanek
Henman seals the set with a third break, helped partially by a double-fault from his opponent.

Henman 5-2 Stepanek
The Briton opens up a 40-0 lead before Stepanek flashes two brilliant service return winners. But Henman completes his hold with the Czech looking for a line-call that never came.

Henman 4-2 Stepanek
Henman does not let the disappointment get to him, and immediately goes on the attack, chipping and charging, to break once more.

Henman 3-2 Stepanek
A terrific response from Stepanek, who whips a brilliant running cross-court winner on his way to breaking back.

Henman 3-1 Stepanek
The Czech pays the penalty for a poor attempted lob, and Henman's attacking play earns him two break-points. He only needs one as Stepanek nets a half-volley to give Henman the early break.

Henman 2-1 Stepanek
Another straightforward hold for 11th seed Henman, who is being cheered on by a large contingent of Brits in the crowd.

Henman 1-1 Stepanek
Stepanek, who came from two sets down in the previous round, can be a useful player on his day, and opens his account with a strong service game.

Henman 1-0 Stepanek
Henman looks sharp as holds to love in the opening game, and his serve already seems to be in good working order.
