31. Andreas Vinciguerra

DOB: 19.02.1981
Nationality: Swedish
World Ranking: 33
Australian Open record:
2001 :: fourth round
2000 :: third round
1999 :: n/a
1998 :: n/a
1997 :: n/a

The Swede returns to the Australian Open for a third time having entered all four major events over the last two years.

Vinciguerra's best Grand Slam record is at Melbourne Park where he has won five and lost two over the course of that period.

But even that pales into insignificance when compared to the International Series event in Copenhagen.

In 2000 the then 19-year-old claimed his first ATP title there, and last year he was only denied in the final by Britain's Tim Henman.
