17. Carlos Moya
Moya has been in freefall since taking the world number one spot in 1999. En route to that peak he reached the quarter-finals in Australia in 1997 and won the French Open a year later. The clay court specialist also reached the last four of the US Open in 1998, but since those glory days he has struggled with injury. In 2001 Moya's form hinted at a revival in fortune and he won his seventh career title in Croatia in July - 15 months after his sixth.
