Murray and Maclagan worked together for two-and-a-half years
Andy Murray's former coach Miles Maclagan is to return to work with world number 31 Philipp Kohlschreiber, BBC Sport understands.
The German player has been ranked as high as 22nd in the world and has reached the last 16 at the Australian and French Opens.
Kohlschreiber thrashed Murray 6-2 6-1 in Monte Carlo in April.
Maclagan teamed up with Murray in 2007 and helped him to reach two Grand Slam finals before losing his job in July.
The 35-year-old is a former Great Britain Davis Cup player and reached a career-high world ranking of 172 in 1995.
