By Mark Ashenden

1933: It's a wrap folks. Thanks for all your comments. Thanks for being there. It's Friday. Here's to a fab weekend of tennis, golf, football and perhaps Andy Murray picking up his first title in 2010. Murray's semi-final up tomorrow - Nadal or Kohlschreiber. Til then. Night.

1932:Andy Murray: "I played big tennis. That's the best the I've played since Australia."

Stuart in Birmingham, via text: "Great performance from Andy. Great day tomorrow Murray v Nadal return of SPL and USPGA golf."

1926: Great work from the Muzz. Faultless. Next up in the semis will be Nadal or Philipp Kohlschreiber. Those two are next up.

Murray 6-2 6-2 Nalbandian
No signs of wobbles from the flying Scot. A fab rally sees both players moving across all inches of the court and Murray blasts the ball across Nalbo's face to get match point. And a sweet way of wrapping up victory with an ace. ANDY MURRAY WINS

Anonymous, via text: "Mrs Murray is a top class coach she is not just his mum! Can we stick to professional comments please. Who is Mark Ashenden? Never heard of him!"
Never heard of Mark Ashenden? Are you kidding? I'll pass on my mum's phone number and you can ask her. She's not my coach by the way.

Murray* 6-2 5-2 Nalbandian
More wobbles than a box of raspberry jelly. The balls are flying out and into the net. Murray 40-0 up against serve. And Nalbo's head looks down towards the blue court and he's in need of a miracle. Muzz is now serving for a spot in the semis.

Murray 6-2 4-2 *Nalbandian
Nalbo needs to dive into his bag - which is the size of a house - and pull out a new racquet. It's no good though and Muzz holds comfortably. "C'mon Andy - finish him off" shouts somebody in the Toronto crowd. Don't think it was his mum.

Martin in Northwich, via text: "Re 18:12, Andy would be a Komodo Dragon. I remember seeing on on BBC's 'Life' programme where it took a few bites out of a buffalo, then hung around it for a few days, waiting for it to finally give up the ghost, and admit defeat. That's Murray right there."

Murray* 6-2 3-2 Nalbandian
Nalbo's serving guns are in full steam mode. Gets it to 40-15. Oh yeh- that'll be right. Double fault. Apologies to all you Nalbo fans. I'll keep quiet. Mmmmm And it's another stinky couple of serves and it's deuce. That must be heart-breaking for the big man. He holds on though despite Murray having a couple more break points.

Murray 6-2 3-1 *Nalbandian
Who needs a coach eh? Not Murray - I've blinked twice there, looked up and Muzz takes his service game. Has Nalbo got any hope of recharging here?

Murray* 6-2 2-1 Nalbandian
You can't knock Nalbo for his battling though. You know Nalbo is hunting his 12th successive victory? His serve stays strong and he finally stops the rot.

Mark in Camberley, via text 81111: "Murray has served great this first set, but also he's been more aggressive and moved Fat Dave from side to side. 5 unforced error helps to. Now,not to lose concentration like yesterday against Monfils"

Murray 6-2 2-0 *Nalbandian
Murray is mixing his serve up brilliantly and another wide one leaves Nalbandian dancing in the tramlines. Nalbo needs to pull a few crackers out of his wardrobe and he plants a really cute drop shot that kisses the top of the net and he gets it to deuce. Brave. And I like it. Murray seems to be fitter, stronger and in possession of a greater variety of shots. Nalbo's got no answer. A sweet half-volley pick-up from Nalbo gets Murray running about half a mile into the net and he could have bagged the game there. It goes into the net though and it's time to get the deuce out. Nalbo's shouting at himself as he plays long. And that's now five game in a row.

Aileen in Scotland , via text 81111: "Driving all the way to Ballater and following commentary. Go Andy"

Murray* 6-2 1-0 Nalbandian
Murray continues his sparkiness (is that a word?) with a stunning backhand to get it to 40-15 in his favour. Mrs Murray is in the crowd and is looking pretty relaxed. And that's the fourth straight game for Murray. Another break. Top effort.

Sebadono on 606: "Quite brilliant tennis from Andy in the first set. No faffing please to follow..."

Murray 6-2 *Nalbandian
Hallo. Das ist some gutten tennis, as some may say in Berlin. A cracking opening set for Murray. Actually - I'll rephrase that - steady, solid. Nalbandian needs to raise his game. Muzz fires down an ace to take the first set. I wonder if he'll be worried if his collapse - as seen against Monfils yesterday - may rear its ugly head again.

1844: Keep your comments coming in. Predictions. Murray's coach situation. Anybody been to Toronto? I'm flexible. I have eyes and ears. Tweet me @bbcsport_mark, text me on 81111 (UK) or +44 7786200666 (worldwide) with TENNIS before your message, or join the banter on 606.

Murray* 5-2 Nalbandian
Murray takes advantage of Nalbo's poor opening serves and the Argentine is wilting in the Toronto heat. It goes to 0-40. His goatee beard is dripping with perspiration. Not a pretty sight - unless you like that sort of thing. And oh dear- a double fault hands Murray another service break. Not too many fireworks but Muzz doing enough and Nalbandian only in third gear so far.

Murray 4-2 *Nalbandian
Nalbo wobbling again but a disguised backhand flies down the line to get it back to 30-30. Chance of a break back perhaps? Rally of the match. Both players have chances with a flurry of drop shots and lobs but Nalbo grasps it with a volley at the net. Sweet. Here's his chance. It goes to deuce though as Murray in full flow storms to the middle of the court, opens up his broad Scottish chest and lashes one into the corner. And he holds. Best game so far for both players. Great to watch.

SAMurphy87 on Twitter: "Great evening of tennis on tap. Muzza vs a rejuvinated Nalban and Fed vs Berdych for the first time since Wimbledon. 'Citing."

Murray* 3-2 Nalbandian
Nalbo winds his strength up and a backhand forces Muzz into the back left corner and the Argentine follows up with an easy smash. A strange double-handed forehand return from Murray actually pays dividends with Nalbo playing long to get it back to 40-30. Too many errors from the Argentine so far but Nalbo survives with his booming serve to finish the game.

Murray 3-1 *Nalbandian
Muzz doesn't take advantage at the net at 30-15 but he keeps his cool and forces Nalbo to play long again. A super cheeky drop shot by Murray but Nalbo's on to it and smashes down leaving his opponent scrambling. Deucey time. A sooper-dooper serve and Murray grabs a two-game lead. A few minor wobbles there but he hangs on.

1825: Some quick stats. Nalbandian, winner of 11 successive matches, has faced Muzz twice in his professional career before today - and won both encounters. Their second and last match was two years ago in Paris at the ATP Masters, a match Nalbo won 7-6 6-3. So there.

Murray* 2-1 Nalbandian
A cracking backhand gives Murray the advantage and a titanic rally has Murray at 30-15. Who'd be a tennis ball? They've got to be going home after a hard day at the office with a massive headache. And a couple of errors leads to Murray taking the first break of service. Muzz just keeping it steady but a solid start.
* denotes NEXT to serve

Murray 1-1 *Nalbandian
Murray's looping forehand looks a useful weapon at the start of this game and forces Nalbo (sorry folks - it just had to be shortened) to play a couple of loose ones long. 30-0 and wallop - a double fault gives Nalbo some hope. Great recovery from the world number four though as his first serve powers down to make it 40-15. And whoosh - shot of the match - Nalbo opens up his body and blasts a low forehand to get within one point. Muzz holds on though.
* denotes NEXT to serve

Murray* 0-1 Nalbandian
Nalbandian plonks one into the net and Murray - donning a bright bright white shirt, takes the first point. I have to say, the bull seems spot on for a name. The Argentine has got some bulk upstairs. First blood to Nalbandian with Murray planting one long and he takes it to 15. A gentle opener.

1813: Time has been called. Who will the winner of this match play in the semis? Nadal or German Philipp Kohlschreiber. Bring it on.

1812: The boys are warming up and the commentators are describing Nalbandian as 'the bull'. Interesting. What animal would Murray be? Anyway. I'd love to hear your thoughts to guide us through. Tweet me @bbcsport_mark, text me on 81111 (UK) or +44 7786200666 (worldwide) with TENNIS before your message, or join the banter on 606.

1809: Murray on Nalbandian: "Its going to be a very tough match - he's one of the best players in the world. I played him at Wimbledon when I was 18…hopefully I'll find a way to win."
Will he win? Should he win? How do you see this match going?

1805: Toronto is the destination. It's the Rogers Cup and a spot in the semis is up for grabs. So who's the mighty Muzz up against? It's only David Nalbandian, ranked 45th in the world, 41 places below Murray. The Argentine will be buzzing after his victory in the Legg Mason Classic in Washington DC last week.

1801: Evening. Morning. Depends where you are I guess. Fancy a bit of tennis? A little drizzle of Murray? Andy Murray. What more could you ask for on a day before the weekend?
