Wozniacki beat Virginie Razzano in the 2009 women's final
Former champions Caroline Wozniacki and Kim Clijsters have both confirmed they will play at this year's Aegon International tournament.
The tournament, held at Devonshire Park in Eastbourne, runs from June 12th until June 19th.
Dane Wozniacki took the women's title last year, while US Open champion Clijsters won in 2005.
Clijsters said: "I'm really excited about playing at Eastbourne. I can't wait to challenge for the title again."
The Belgian, currently ranked number 17 in the world, added: "To come back last year and win at the US Open has only made me more hungry for success."
Wozniacki said: "It's a fantastic setting for a tournament and excellent preparation for me ahead of Wimbledon."
"I'm really excited to defend my title and can't wait to return to England for the grass court season."
Wozniacki is currently at number four in the WTA world rankings.
Tournament Director Gavin Fletcher commented: "To secure such high profile players as Wozniacki and Clijsters is fantastic for this event."
