US Open quotes - day 10

Caroline Wozniacki
Wozniacki is big news back home in Denmark

"I haven't read the newspapers in Denmark, but I'm sure they can find a boyfriend for me. I don't have any real boyfriends right now - and usually I keep to one."
Caroline Wozniacki deals with all the burning issues thrown at her by the world's media

"I'm basically a normal 17-year-old kid. I still go to movies and go to the mall. Like to shop. I have a wii at my house. I love playing that. Just different things, like board games and cards with my grandma. I mean, I just love doing all of that stuff, so basically I'm just a normal kid."
Melanie Oudin is yet to fall for the celebrity lifestyle

"It was cold so I felt at home being from Switzerland but then it got even cooler and him being from Sweden I think that played in his favour."
Roger Federer jokes (honest) about the reason Robin Soderling made such a stirring comeback against him.

"I'm pretty sure that I can beat him."
That's the spirit - Robin Soderling after seeing his record against Federer go to 0-12.

"To me, he's the best player of all time, but for sure I feel like I have a chance every time I play against him, even though it's pretty small."
Robin does realise the scale of the task next time he faces Federer.

"It was kind of hard to concentrate: I was listening to the songs on the changeovers, like, 'OK, I could've done a better fill there.'"
Mike Bryan after he and Bob lose in the doubles. The brothers had planned to release their band's first album this week but it fell through.

"It feels like 2007 when I played finals here and did all these crazy things, impersonating the players. So it was really a lot of enjoyment playing with McEnroe the other night. It was unexpected. I promise it wasn't planned. It just came out. It was good."
Novak Djokovic insists his impromptu knock-about with John McEnroe was in no way a publicity stunt to improve his image after last year's falling out with the fans.

"I don't think that I was too nervous. But, yeah, for sure I was nervous, a little bit."
Kateryna Bondarenko did not suffer from nerves in her semi-final. Did she?
