Juan Martin del Potro took his second title in seven days with victory over Jurgen Melzer at the Austrian Open.

The 19-year-old Argentine won 6-2 6-1 on the clay to follow up his maiden ATP victory in Stuttgart last week.

"These were two great weeks for me, really unbelievable," said Del Potro. "I can only dream that I will be able to play on at this level."

Albert Montanes took the Dutch Open, Gilles Simon won in Indianapolis, and Fernando Verdasco won the Croatia Open.

Del Potro cruised to victory in just 59 minutes, joining Rafael Nadal as the only players this year to win back-to-back tournaments.

"It's another dream for me, another tournament," said the Argentine. "In two weeks I played 10 matches and won all of them.

"This week I didn't lose a set so I'm very happy. I have served very well both weeks and I think I changed a little bit my mind; I was always concentrating."

Montanes, the world number 63, beat title holder Steve Darcis of Belgium 1-6 7-5 6-3 to claim his first tour title.

"I've always dreamt about winning an ATP title and this moment is very special for me," said the 27-year-old Spaniard.

"I was not thinking too much about having lost the previous four finals I played. I was just focusing on each point and fighting hard for every ball."

Frenchman Simon, 23, overwhelmed defending champion Dmitry Tursunov 6-4 6-4 to win in Indianapolis.

"My goal at the start of the season was to reach top 15," said the 25th-ranked Simon. "I started the year at 30th.

"But with my ranking, I need to do better at Masters Series events and Grand Slam if I'm to improve.

"My best so far is two third rounds at the Australian Open and one at the US Open. That's not enough."

Verdasco of Spain won a tight encounter against Igor Andreev, eventually prevailing 3-6 6-4 7-6 (7-4) in Umag.
