German Philipp Kohlschreiber has hit back at accusations of match-fixing made by an unnamed bookmaker in the German newspaper Die Welt.
Kohlschreiber won the BMW Open earlier this year
The bookmaker alleged that around 30 professionals were involved in match-fixing for internet betting sites, including the German.
"These scandalous accusations are a slur on my name and reputation as a player," said the 24-year-old.
"I am a professional sportsman and I always play to win."
The German paper highlighted two recent matches of Kohlschreiber's which were the subject of an abnormal volume of bets.
Georg von Waldenfels, the president of the German tennis federation, said he would contact the world number 32 to discuss the allegations.
