Top seed Richard Gasquet beat Olivier Rochus 6-3 6-4 to win his first ATP Tour title of the season in Mumbai.
The world number 14 built on an early break to win an opening set that featured long baseline battles.
Belgian Rochus, playing in his first ATP Tour final of the season, traded breaks with his French opponent as the second set reached 3-3.
But Gasquet, 21, broke again in the seventh game before serving out to win the match in just 86 minutes.
