FOURTH SET

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 7-5 Cilic/Zovko
And that's it! Jamie plays the game of the match, lob volleying to make it 15-0, then striking a brilliant forehand winner before bringing up two match points with another stunning volley. Fittingly, Henman strikes the winner, a fabulous cross-court forehand and that's a brilliant win. Britain are in the World Group for the first time since 2003 and Henman is lapping up the applause - and why not! Court One erupts and it's joyous scenes all round. Beer anyone?

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 6-5 Cilic/Zovko
Excellent work from Murray after a net cord hands Croatia a 15-0 lead. A superb forehand winner precedes a kick-serve ace and the pressure is right back on the visitors.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 5-5 Cilic/Zovko
Holy guacamole this is tense. Henman fires a backhand winner and Murray a fine net volley, but Zovko shrugs off the pressure with a couple of stingers and Cilic seals the hold with a banging net volley. Hold onto your hats peeps.

"The noise is quite astonishing. By Wimbledon standards, it's a full scale riot."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 5-4 Cilic/Zovko
At last a bit of a breather for Britain, Henman holding to 15 with a fabulous service game. He's been on fire all day - and now Zovko, who has looked vulnerable at times, must serve to keep Croatia in the match.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 4-4 Cilic/Zovko
Is Greg Rusedski some kind of soothsayer in disguise? The BBC pundit is spot on once again as Britain pile the pressure on to Zovko, who misses a couple at the net to hand the hosts a 30-0 lead against serve. However, once again Croatia battle back, bringing it back to deuce after a Murray volley brings up break point, and doing it again after a stunning Henman lob brings up a second. A Zovko volley finally sees out the game and this is breathless stuff.

"Great hold from Murray, under severe pressure, and how they would love a good start to Cilic's next service game."
BBC Sport's Greg Rusedski

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 4-3 Cilic/Zovko
Murray's service game has looked vulnerable all match, but with Henman crouched in the centre of the court in the 'I' formation, the British pair build a 40-15 lead - helped by some good close hands at the net from both. Jamie then misses a simple overhead, though, and nets a forehand volley at 40-30 to bring it back to deuce. A superb Cilic return brings up break point but Murray goes some way to redeeming himself with a fine running volley and then forces the error at the net again. Henman nets to hand Croatia another break point but Murray keeps his nerve to win a mammoth game - and what a crucial hold that might prove.

"Is Caroline Cheese a member of a mafia family at all? Her comment about 'having a word' with the Croatians was a little sinister to say the least."
SharpDarts on 606

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 3-3 Cilic/Zovko
You've got to love the fact that Cilic and Zovko go to the trouble of covering their mouths as they discuss tactics in between points - I'm not sure Timmy and Jamie's Croatian is all that hot to be honest. Still, it does them no harm as Zovko holds to love.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 3-2 Cilic/Zovko
Just when it looked like Britain were in cruise control, Cilic and Zovko pull out all the stops and a hitch-kick backhand - is that a real thing? - from the former brings up break point. Henman saves it with a fine first serve, though, and then brings up game point with a brave, deep second serve that sets up the easy volley home. Zovko sends a forehand wide to seal the hold for Britain.

"Judy Murray is just returning to her seat carrying a coffee - you wouldn't blame her if there was a wee dram in there. This won't be easy to watch. She seems pretty relaxed, though, as she chats to some disabled fans on her way through."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 2-2 Cilic/Zovko
A blink-and-you-miss-it service game from Cilic, which I kind of did, but it's a comfortable hold to love courtesy of more stingers on serve from the big man.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 2-1 Cilic/Zovko
Jamie Murray at last looks like he's enjoying himself and the Scot almost wins the game on his own, sending down a couple of aces and cleaning up at the net and it's an easy hold to love.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 1-1 Cilic/Zovko
Not for the first time today, Lovro Zovko wobbles and good aggression from Murray hands Britain a 30-0 lead against serve. The Croat regains his composure just in time, squeezing a fabulous pick-up shot down the line to help bring up a 40-30 lead, but Cilic fires his net volley long to bring the game to deuce. The game looks to be going Croatia's way until a Jamie Murray return bounces off the net and between Cilic and Zovko, but the visitors see off another break point and a Cilic volley seals the hold.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) 1-0 Cilic/Zovko
Despite Cheesey's best efforts at bokking, it's a comfortable hold for Britain and Henman and Murray look like they're buzzing now.

THIRD SET

"Just had a word with our Croatian friends. I don't think we'll find them any more trouble now."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-3) Cilic/Zovko
Britain win it! Henman brings up the mini break with a lovely return of serve and Jamie Murray works a couple of fabulous serves to make it 3-0. Cilic fails to return another excellent Henman return as Britain snatch a second mini break, and although the Tiger volleys wide at 5-1, Cilic does the same at 5-3 to gift the hosts three set points. They need only one as Henman slaps back a Cilic return and what a point that could prove.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 6-6 Cilic/Zovko
Jamie Murray gets away with a shoddy volley and Henman once again displays all his wiles and wares in holding to love - we're into a tie-break.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 5-6 Cilic/Zovko
I tell you what, after some early wobbles, Zovko is proving himself to be a bit of player out on Court One. He builds a 40-0 lead on the back of some boomers, and even though two Cilic returns find the net, the Croats hold.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 5-5 Cilic/Zovko
Brilliant stuff from Murray - possibly his best service game to date and he finishes it off to 15 with an ace to Cilic's forehand side.

"Maybe if Tim offers to shower Jamie with kisses if they LOSE, that might motivate Murray to raise his game!"
mikesiva on 606

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 4-5 Cilic/Zovko
Comfortable hold from Cilic, dragging Croatia back into the lead on the back of more crashing serves, and Jamie Murray - just as in the first set - must hold serve to deny the visitors the set.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 4-4 Cilic/Zovko
Mini let-off for Britain as Cilic misses the simplest of volleys at the net to bring Britain back at 30-30, but Zovko makes no such error with a volley just past Murray to bring up break point. The Croat has no answer to a fabulous second serve from Henman, though, and Murray cleans up at the net to secure the hold.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 3-4 Cilic/Zovko
Wonderful work from the British pair, Murray sending down a return winner before a crashing Henman volley forces the error and brings up three break-back points. They only need one as Murray dances into the net to force another error from Cilic and we're back on serve. Quite frightening work from Mr Rusedski that.

"It's not a break until you hold serve."
BBC Sport's Greg Rusedski

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 2-4 Cilic/Zovko
Inspired work from Cilic and then Zovko bring up two break points on Murray's serve and a superb Cilic return sets up a simple backhand volley winner from Zovko - huge blow for Britain.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 2-3 Cilic/Zovko
With Andrew Castle and Greg Rusedski reflecting on Jamie Murray's struggles, it is clear who the Croatian pair are trying to target and the Scot needs to start showing his better form as soon as possible. A Henman backhand down the line keeps the hosts interested at 40-30 down, though, and Cilic double faults to take it to deuce. Murray brings a couple of return volleys out to bring up break point, but Cilic responds and holds well.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 2-2 Cilic/Zovko
More excellent work from Henman on serve, and with Murray finding his touch again at the net, Cilic and Zovko have no answer. This is being played at a ferocious pace, though, and I wonder if Britain - and more importantly Henman - can afford for this to go the distance.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 1-2 Cilic/Zovko
Again Zovko ticks on his serve and he holds to 15, despite an outrageous lob from Henman right off the frame of the racket.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 1-1 Cilic/Zovko
A superb cross-court forehand from Cilic piles the pressure on Jamie Murray at 15-30 but Croatia are denied a couple of break points when a mis-hit forehand from Zovko drops just wide. Murray cleans up at the net to bring up game point, but Henman fails to return Zovko's return and it goes to deuce. Britain see it out, though, and this is turning into a bit of a mammoth match.

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 0-1 Cilic/Zovko
Good hold from Croatia, Cilic and Zovko showing no signs of dropping their heads after that second set.

SECOND SET

"The first set was a wee bit nerve-wracking and Jamie was wobbling a bit on his serve, but the second set was a lot better and it looks like they are settling down. Fingers crossed!"
Jamie's mother Judy Murray, courtside at Wimbledon on BBC Two

Henman/Murray 4-6 6-4 Cilic/Zovko
Kaboom! Beautiful work from Henman, sending down a couple of brutal aces to bring up two sets points and delightful Murray volley seals it - we're back level people.

Henman/Murray 4-6 5-4 Cilic/Zovko
I'm not sure if it was the threat of a good kissing from Timbo (see Sharp Darts' comment below), but Jamie's returns falter again and Lovro Zovko - what a great name that is by the way - holds to love to ensure Henman will have to serve out the set.

"We know Murray can play better than this but perhaps he needs a bit of encouragement. When he won the mixed doubles with Jelena Jankovic at Wimbledon, apparently she motivated him by saying she'd kiss him all over if they won."
SharpDarts on 606

Henman/Murray 4-6 5-3 Cilic/Zovko
Finally Jamie Murray looks to be settling down - and an ace out wide to Cilic's forehand brings Britain a 30-15 lead. The Scot still needs to pull out a fine pick-up volley at the net to bring up game point - which he duly wins with an ace down the T.

"Just before that break point Henman told Murray to cover the kick serve on the backhand side and it was a great call - Jamie did so and Cilic had no answer to a fine return. Crucial break from Britain."
BBC Sport's Greg Rusedski

Henman/Murray 4-6 4-3 Cilic/Zovko
A net cord and double fault go Britain's way, and when Cilic sends a backhand volley wide, Britain sense an opening at deuce. Henman brings up break point with a fabulous backhand return and Murray finally finds a return before the Tiger whips a volley winner and Britain break!

Henman/Murray 4-6 3-3 Cilic/Zovko
Do we think there's any chance of Timbo donning a comedy wig and taking on Jamie Murray's service duties every other game? The veteran produces a series of wide serves to help Britain take a 40-0 lead, and although a couple of fine Cilic returns bring it back to 40-30, Timmy brings out the trusty backhand volley to seal it.

Henman/Murray 4-6 2-3 Cilic/Zovko
Credit where it's due - Croatia are playing some wonderful stuff out there. A service hold to love from Zovko and it's the visitors that are commanding this match, no question.

Henman/Murray 4-6 2-2 Cilic/Zovko
Murray is suffering out there - Cilic and Zovko preying on his serves and finding two return winners to bring up two break points, but a fabulous overhead volley from Henman and pick-up return from Jamie Murray brings the Britons back to deuce. The Scot finds two stingers on serve to see out the game - important hold that.

"I'm off to tell the Croatians to re-read the script - they don't seem to have got to grips with it at all."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

Henman/Murray 4-6 1-2 Cilic/Zovko
Henman's the key at the moment - with Jamie Murray a little off the boil, the Tiger is pulling out the big guns and a super backhand winner brings Britain a 15-30 lead on Cilic's serve. Unbelievably, Cilic loops down an ace out wide on his second serve to peg Croatia back, before another ace brings up game point. Henman brings it back to deuce but Cilic finds the big serves when he needs them most again and we're still on serve.

Henman/Murray 4-6 1-1 Cilic/Zovko
Just what the doctor ordered for Britain - Henman finding a series of first serves which Cilic and Zovko fail to deal with and the Tiger holds to 15, aided by a fine net volley from Murray at the last.

Henman/Murray 4-6 0-1 Cilic/Zovko
Zovko is growing in stature with every game and he serves out to love, prompting a mini conference between Henman, Murray and coach John Lloyd. Sort it aaat lads.

FIRST SET

"Way too much complacency in the whole build-up. If Ljubicic is fit tomorrow GB can easily lose this tie."
jaytee28 on 606

Henman/Murray 4-6 Cilic/Zovko
Ouch! Murray falters under pressure, Cilic and Zovko finding return after return to build two break points and the former seals it in style, zipping a fabulous lob into the open court and it's first blood to Croatia. Anyone who was tipping a three-set stroll for Britain have just revealed themselves as really rather silly. Ahem.

"Someone's got a banner reading 'Watch the ball Robbo'. What can this mean? A message for Paul Robinson? I don't know the Spurs keeper but I'm willing to bet he won't be watching the tennis right now."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

Henman/Murray 4-5 Cilic/Zovko
Henman and Murray step up the pressure - a Murray lobbed service return bringing Britain to 30-30 and Henman then swiping a lovely backhand winner to take the game to deuce. However, Cilic sees off the game, finding a tremendous kick serve and then a booming first to put the visitors within a game of the first set.

Henman/Murray 4-4 Cilic/Zovko
Easy service game to love for Henman, with Murray backing up three unreturnable serves with a forehand winner at the net.

"Good luck Tim n Andy ! England Women ! England Rugby !"
Elizabeth pink! via text

Henman/Murray 3-4 Cilic/Zovko
Touch of genius from Henman - he's snapping everything up at the net and then pulls a backcourt lob out of the very top drawer to put Britain 30-15 up on the Croats' serve. A couple of missed volleys and huge Zovko serve seal Croatia the game, though.

Henman/Murray 3-3 Cilic/Zovko
Murray's cooking on serve now, looking to force his opposite number out wide whenever possible. He finishes off a love game by firing a volley straight into Cilic's midriff - jubbly!

Henman/Murray 2-3 Cilic/Zovko
We're still on serve and Zovko and Cilic look comfortable, dominating the centre of the court and forcing Britain to go for the big winner every time. Which they can't yet do - a change in tactics needed I feel.

Henman/Murray 2-2 Cilic/Zovko
Henman serves for the first time in the match, but it's a nervy start as a wayward Jamie Murray overhead lets Croatia in at 15-30. Henman pulls it around, though, with a couple of boomers and Cilic and Zovko fail to find their returns.

1325: By the way, on a huge day in sport we've got live commentaries coming at you from all angles, so feel free to dip in and out of all the action as you see fit...

Henman/Murray 1-2 Cilic/Zovko
Nice settler from Zovko - targeting Jamie Murray's forehand at every opportunity and sealing the game to 30.

Henman/Murray 1-1 Cilic/Zovko
And Murray levels it up comfortably, firing decent body serves at Cilic and Zovko, with Henman tidying up at the net. Zovko certainly looks the weak link at the moment and he can expect a lot of work today.

Henman/Murray 0-1 Cilic/Zovko
Solid hold from Cilic, finding four unreturnable serves to win to 30. Signs of encouragement for Timbo and Muzza, though, each finding winning returns and that might bode well...

"The Murray brothers' little cousin really has made an effort today - resplendent as she is in a full-length shiny pink dress. Tim will appreciate that."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

1314: Here we go... Cilic to serve first...

1309: The placards are out in force in the crowd - one team of 'wags' are displaying "c'mon murman" - a play on the Murray-Henman combo I assume. Surely "c'mon Henray" has a better ring to it? What am I jabbering about? I have absolutely no idea... bring on the tennis...

"Slight hitch there - the Wimbledon organisers had Kasabian playing at the wrong speed over the speaker system - kind of like the Smurfs do rock - nice."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

1258: The sun is out, the crowd is building nicely and Sue is already flirting with Greg Rusedski on BBC Two - all is right in the world! The players will be out soon, and expect one hell of a reception for Timmy and Jamie in just a few minutes...

"Rather than a curse, Jamie will probably cherish the fact he played the final games with the best Brits (Henman and Rusedski). Let's hope they win - would be a great thing for Tim."
duggietoo on 606

"Is it ridiculously selfish of me to hope that we lose this rubber purely so I can see Tim in action when I go to Wimbledon tomorrow? Yes? I thought as much."
Un-Bell-ievable on 606

1243: My colleague has just informed me that apparently the Croatian team are staying in a rather swanky hotel in Chelsea - any chance Jose Mourinho gave them some last minute tips ahead of the weekend? You know, a kind of last-gift-to-English-sport quip like "lull them into a false sense of security by losing your first two singles matches, that will work"? No? Alright, just a thought...

"The sun is out and I didn't pack my sunglasses. Rubbish. Still I'm not complaining. I'm telling you it's hotter today than at any point during Wimbledon in July. It's like the sun is paying its own special tribute to our Tim..."
BBC Sport's Caroline Cheese at Wimbledon

1235: While Sue Barker goes through her lines out on the green grass of Court One - ever the professional is Sue - a reminder that a place in the Elite World Group is up for grabs should Britain win this weekend. The last time they were there was four years ago back in 2003. As for Croatia, it would be an almighty fall from grace given they won the Davis Cup just two years ago. The loss of Mario Ancic, Ivo Karlovic and Ivan Ljubicic has cost them dear so far... can Britain full take advantage today? Get in touch on 606 or via text and let's get the banter rolling...

1230: Lest we forget - Davis Cup in England is showbiz showbiz showbiz now! For example, as the crowd assemble ahead of the afternoon's tennis, they will entertained by a mixture of pop music over the PA system, a demonstration of 'tennis cardio' (?!) out on the court, some bloke/group I've never heard of playing some funky stuff I won't understand... and the Davis Cup dancers are back! All the way from Welwyn Garden City apparently. I hope the LTA covered their bus fares...

1215: It's confirmed - Henman will partner Jamie Murray against Cilic and Lovko - happy days. Get the whistles, trumpets, flags and inflatable toys ready folks, it's going to be a carnival atmosphere on Court One.

1205: Well here we are then - day two of the Davis Cup and Great Britain are in the rather unusual position of being just one match victory away from winning a tie, and it's only Saturday!

Henman and Andy Murray did their jobs in fine fashion on Friday in each winning their singles matches, and word on the street - and I mean those dainty little decked streets around the Wimbledon village - is that Timbo will be thrown into the mixer for today's doubles match alongside Jamie Murray.

With Ivan Ljubicic likely to miss out once again due to the urinary infection that ruled him out of Friday's singles, Marin Cilic should partner Croatian doubles specialist Lovro Zovko.

This could all be done and dusted by early afternoon... and what a send off that would be for Tim 'the Tiger' Henman.
