Ivan Ljubicic is looking forward to finishing his Davis Cup career at Wimbledon in September.
Ljubicic does not have a good record on grass
The world number seven confirmed he will be part of the Croatia team that takes on Great Britain at the All England Club on 21-23 September.
"I am definitely going to play," Ljubicic told BBC Sport.
"I announced already that it's going to be my last Davis Cup match and I think this is the perfect place to finish - Wimbledon is the home of tennis."
The Croatia line-up remains in doubt as Mario Ancic has been suffering with glandular fever and Ivo Karlovic has been in dispute with his federation, but a full-strength team would be a stern test for John Lloyd's GB side.
I might not get in the team...I don't know who will play but if we have a full team we have a good chance
"I might not get in the team," said Ljubicic. "I don't know who will play but if we have a full team we have a good chance.
"I think we need to win the doubles, that's important for us and we have a good chance."
Britain will hope that Andy Murray and Tim Henman are fit for the Davis Cup World Group play-off and Ljubicic has plenty of respect for the home team's top two.
"Tim has played I don't know how many semi-finals at Wimbledon and Murray has a lot of expectation around him and so far he is living up to them," said Ljubicic.
