GAME-BY-GAME UPDATES
Second set:
Murray 0-6 Djokovic
Djokovic wraps up victory, helped by a couple of Murray errors. The Serb is into his second Masters Series final. Murray mooches dejectedly off the court.
Murray 0-5 Djokovic
Murray's coach Brad Gilbert can usually be seen chatting non-stop courtside - but even is currently stunned into silence. Another Murray double fault, another unforced error - he's 0-40 down and looking down the barrel of a humiliating defeat. He saves two break points but another double fault means Djokovic will be serving for a place in the final.
Murray 0-4 Djokovic
Murray saved two match points against Paul-Henri Mathieu earlier this week so you can never write him off. But Djokovic's nerve is showing no sign of faltering. He is playing deceptively well, just doing enough to keep Murray at bay.
Murray 0-3 Djokovic
A double-fault from Murray hands Djokovic another break point. But the Scot saves it, bolding approaching the net and putting away a backhand volley. The crowd at Crandon Park are getting behind him, probably hoping to see more of a match. But it proves a false dawn - Djokovic finally breaks on his third opportunity and skips delightedly to his chair.
Murray 0-2 Djokovic
Djokovic goes 40-0 up but Murray battles his way back to deuce with the help of the net. A tense rally ensues but Murray commits another unforced error to cede the advantage - and Djokovic quickly wraps up the game.
Murray 0-1 Djokovic
The worst possible start to the second set for British number one Murray, who drops serve. Murray is furious with himself.
First set:
Murray 1-6 Djokovic
Another flawless service game from Djokovic, who wraps up the opening set at the first opportunity.
Murray 1-5 Djokovic
The tussle of the talented teenagers is yet to really get going. Murray is more teenage tantrum than teenage talent at the moment. But on the other side of the net, Djokovic is keeping his cool and mixing up the play well, a drop shot here, a crosscourt winner there. Murray whacks a forehand long to go a double-break down.
Murray 1-4 Djokovic
Djokovic races through his service game without dropping a point. Murray is not getting much luck with net cords and another one sees him go 4-1 down in the opening set.
Murray 1-3 Djokovic
Murray is already muttering angrily away to himself - with good reason when he goes break-point down. His backhand is misfiring badly but it is a forehand error that sees him lose the game - and his cool.
Murray 1-2 Djokovic
Some clever pressing play from Murray puts the British number one 0-40 up. But an unlucky net cord, a Djokovic ace and a drippy Murray backhand into the net wipes out the break points. Djokovic holds.
Murray 1-1 Djokovic
Murray holds serve but not without Djokovic showing how dangerous he can be, sending a couple of scorching returns back to the Scot.
Murray 0-1 Djokovic
Both players begin the match a little stiffly. Murray nets three backhands while Djokovic serves a double fault and then hits a wild smash that causes a line judge to take preventative action. The Serb holds when Murray nets a forehand.
2000 BST: The sun is beating down as the players warm up in Miami. The umpire performs the toss, Djokovic goes for heads and heads it is - the Serb chooses to serve.
