Tim Henman and Andy Murray's run in the Indian Wells Masters Series doubles ended in the quarter-finals.
The British duo were beaten 6-3 6-4 by top seeds Jonas Bjorkman and Max Mirnyi in California on Thursday.
They failed to get into the first set but broke their opponents twice in the second before losing five games in a row to the Swedish-Belarussian pairing.
Murray returns to action on Friday when he faces Tommy Haas in the last eight of the men's singles competition.
