Sybille Bammer
Bammer was playing in her first WTA Tour singles final
Unseeded Austrian Sybille Bammer saved three match points before beating sixth seed Gisela Dulko of Argentina to win the Pattaya Open in Thailand on Sunday.

The 26-year-old, ranked 61, eventually prevailed 7-5 3-6 7-5 for her first WTA Tour title.

"Its great," said Bammer. "I'm very happy to win my first title. It's one of the happiest days in my life."

She added: "It was a tough match. Even when I was down, I kept fighting. I was lucky to win."

Dulko, who was also chasing her first title, said she thought she had done enough to win.

"I thought I had it, I think I deserved to win, but she fought hard," she said. "I'm disappointed, I had three match points - I was so close."
