The powerful Ancic is currently 12th in the world rankings

Third seed Mario Ancic enjoyed a straightforward 6-3 6-4 win over Dutchman Raemon Sluiter to reach the St Petersburg Open quarter-finals.
Ancic, making his debut in St Petersburg, is the only remaining seed in a draw that has been decimated by injury withdrawals and upsets.
The only other remaining seed left in the tournament was fourth-ranked Tommy Haas but he lost in the second round.
The German was beaten 7-6 (7-4) 4-6 6-2 by Russian wildcard Igor Kunitsyn.
Ancic's win means the 22-year-old Croat also keeps alive his hopes of making the Masters Cup.
