Russia's Dmitry Tursunov has been fined £4,000 ($7,500) after he raged at umpire Fergus Murphy following his fourth-round defeat to Jarkko Nieminen.
Tursunov was involved in an angry, finger-pointing exchange with Murphy whom he later labelled an "idiot".
Organisers said he had been handed two fines for "unsportsmanlike conduct".
After losing his serve to go 8-7 down in the final set, Tursunov was docked a point at the start of the last game for hitting a ball toward the Irish umpire.
Nieminen also lost a penalty point when his racket bounced out of court after he smashed it into the turf.
The Finn had to climb over the backwall to collect the racket and apologised to the fans behind the court.
