She then had a break of 30 minutes before returning to take the doubles title, partnering Meghann Shaughnessy of the United States to a comfortable 6-1 6-3 triumph over Japan's Shinobu Asagoe and Emilie Loit of France.

Top-seeded Frantisek Cermak and Leos Friedl, of the Czech Republic, defeated Potito Starace and Filippo Volandri of Italy 7-5 6-2 in the men's doubles.
