Third seed Gaston Gaudio came from a set down to beat Fernando Verdasco and win the Generali Open in Kitzbuehel.
The Argentine, who lost to Chilean Nicolas Massu in last year's final, won 2-6 6-2 6-4 6-4 in a match that was interrupted by rain.
Verdasco took the first set but Gaudio, the 2004 French Open champion, hit back and was leading 4-2 in the third set when rain forced a two-hour delay.
Gaudio made light of the break and raced to a fifth title on clay in 2005.
The 26-year-old said: "The match started too early for me, I was waking up set by set."
But Gaudio admitted he now needed to take his claycourt form into the hardcourt season.
Since the beginning of 2004, the Argentine has won just 10 games on quicker surfaces while losing 17 times.
