Massu makes comfortable progress
Nicolas Massu
Nicolas Massu came through a tough first set to beat French qualifier Nicolas Thomann at the Dutch Open in Amersfoort on Tuesday.

The Chilean, seeded three, saved five break points on his way to a 6-4 6-2 victory and a clash with Jiri Vanek.

Big-serving Daniele Bracciali of Italy defeated Czech Radim Zitko 7-6 (7-3) 6-2, while Raemon Sluiter beat fifth seed Luis Horna 6-7 (7-9) 6-3 7-5.

Argentina's Agustin Calleri edged out Frenchman Julien Benneteau 6-4 2-6 6-3.
