2004: 1st round
Anabel Medina Garrigues has made just two appearances at Wimbledon in the last four years and there is nothing to suggest the Spaniard will set the tournament alight this time.
She slumped out in the first round on her SW19 debut in 2001 and, after injury and a long climb back up the rankings, she returned three years later to repeat the unwanted feat.
But the 22-year-old heads to the All-England Club this year, buoyed by a stellar month in May.
Medina Garrigues picked up her third career title - and third on clay - at the Strasbourg International, taking the scalp of top seed Natalie Dechy on the way.
She then headed to the French Open, where she gave eventual champion Justine Henin-Hardenne a major scare.
She took the first five games before her Belgian opponent fought back to win the third-round clash 4-6 6-2 6-3.
