Kim Clijsters has made a remarkable comeback in 2005 after fighting a career-threatening wrist injury.
The Belgian first injured her wrist in March of 2004, had surgery in June but tore the tendon again in the autumn - meaning she was out of the sport for almost a year.
Clijsters returned to the court in February at Antwerp and swept to the quarter-finals.
And there was no looking back as she raced to successive titles at Indian Wells and Miami - a double only previously achieved by Steffi Graf.
The encouraging news for Clijsters is that she had to beat the world's best along the way.
She dealt with Lindsay Davenport at Indian Wells and then Maria Sharapova in Miami.
Davenport exacted her revenge at the French Open, ousting Clijsters in three sets in the fourth round.
But Clijsters should arrive at Wimbledon full of confidence and determined to keep up her search for her first Grand Slam.
