Mary Pierce rolled back the years to reach the final of the French Open - but after her emotional defeat in Paris how will she fare at Wimbledon?
The 30-year-old's Roland Garros march saw her sweep aside Vera Zvonareva, Patty Schyder, top seed Lindsay Davenport and Elena Likhovtseva.
Pierce's new combination of on-court aggression and off-court serenity seemed to be a winning formula.
But the Frenchwoman's composed game crumbled against Justine Henin-Hardenne, who had just as much to prove at Roland Garros.
It might be difficult for Pierce to replicate her Paris antics on Wimbledon's grass courts.
Her best display at the All England Club was back in 1996 when she reached the quarter-finals.
And, French Open aside, the two-time Grand Slam winner has only reached the quarter-final stage once this season at Indian Wells, where she lost to Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova.
