Mariano Puerta beat his Argentine compatriot Juan Monaco 6-4 6-1 to win the Casablanca Open title in Morocco.
The sixth seed was always in control of the match, wrapping up the third title of his career in 78 minutes.
"It is unbelievable, such a great feeling," said Puerta of his first win since victory in Bogota in 2000.
Monaco was generous in defeat, saying: "I gave everything I had in this final, and Mariano played a great match; he was able to stay more concentrated."
