Andy Murray reached the last four of the second-string Challenger event in New York state after beating American seventh seed Alex Bogomolov.
Murray has been in good form on the North American hardcourts
The 18-year-old Scot cruised to a 6-4 6-4 win and plays Brian Baker later on Saturday for a place in the final.
It marks a good day for Murray, who has been awarded a wildcard into the main tour's Cincinnati Masters next week.
Murray, who is now 145th in the world, will face big-serving American Taylor Dent in the first round.
Murray will compete in his first Masters event alongside countrymen Tim Henman and the in-form Greg Rusedski.
Henman will meet Olympic champion Nicolas Massu in round one while Rusedski will take on a qualifier.
