French Open champion Gaston Gaudio has been forced to withdraw from Wimbledon because of a foot injury.
It is a disappointing blow for the Argentine who caused a sensation last week with his win over Guillermo Coria in the final at Roland Garros.
Gaudio came from two sets down to claim his first Grand Slam title.
The 25-year-old misses the chance to improve his record at Wimbledon, where he has reached the second round only once in five visits.
