Belgium's world number one Justine Henin-Hardenne has withdrawn from Wimbledon because of a lack of fitness.
"My physicians have given me strict orders that several more weeks of rest are needed to ensure a full recovery," said the Australian Open champion.
Henin-Hardenne has been suffering from a viral infection and was knocked out of the French Open in the second round.
Fellow Belgian Kim Clijsters, the world number two, withdrew from Wimbledon on Monday with a wrist injury.

My dream of holding the Wimbledon trophy must wait another year

"Since the day I walked off the court after the semi-finals at Wimbledon last year, I have been looking forward to competing on the grass again," added Henin-Hardenne, who was runner-up at the All England Club in 2001.
"Unfortunately, my dream of holding the Wimbledon trophy must wait another year.
"I look forward to an early and complete recovery and wish all my colleagues the best of luck."
