Elena Dementieva broke down in tears as she tried to explain her performance in the French Open final.
"I just do not know how to serve," said Dementieva after she delivered 10 double faults in her 6-1 6-2 defeat to fellow Russian Anastasia Myskina.
"I just couldn't handle all the pressure and I was too excited. My concentration wasn't there.
"I was rushing and I couldn't stop myself. I was losing point after point and couldn't change anything."
However, Dementieva said she was determined to work on the mental side of her game ahead of Wimbledon.
"I've had some good matches and now I know what it takes to get to the final of a Grand Slam and how hard it is and I understand that I have to be stronger mentally," she said.
"I am going to work on that before Wimbledon."
