Acasuso wins in Bucharest
Jose Acasuso was unseeded in Bucharest
Jose Acasuso trounced fourth seed Igor Andreev 6-3 6-0 to claim the Romanian Open title in Bucharest on Sunday.

The unseeded Argentine made short work his Russian opponent who he also beat on his way to the semi-final last year.

"I had a wonderful week in Bucharest and the last day was the best," said the 21-year-old after his comfortable victory. "Everything I tried worked."

Andreev, ranked 50th in the world, said: "I'm disappointed not to have been able to show my best game."

Acasuso can now expect his world ranking to climb from 95 following his first victory on the ATP circuit.

It was his third appearance in a tour final, having missed out on the Sopot title in Poland in 2001 and Gstaad earlier this year.
