Agustin Calleri set up an all South American final in the AT&T Cup in Buenos Aires after defeating countryman Juan Ignacio Chela.

The Argentinian moved into the first ATP final of his career with a 6-4 6-4 win over Chela and now faces Chile's Nicolas Massu on Sunday.

Calleri caused one of the shocks of the tournament in the first round when he knocked out former world number one Gustavo Kuerten with relative ease.

And he took that confidence into his semi-final clash against Chela.

Calleri produced the first break of the match in the ninth game which he immediately converted before serving for the set.

Chela fought back in a scrappy second set, which was littered with unforced errors.

But his serve was once again broken in the ninth game to produce the same result.

Afterwards Calleri said: "It was a very difficult game.

"We ran a lot, but I was able to keep focused."

In the other semi-final, Massu looked in confident form against Spain's Feliciano Lopez as he triumphed 7-6 6-2.

There was a break apiece in the opening set before the Chilean easily took the tiebreak 7-2.
