Roddick roars back from brink
Second seed Roddick won six games in succession

Andy Roddick staged a remarkable comeback from a set and 0-4 down against Andre Sa to reach the quarter-finals of the Kroger St Jude tournament in Memphis.
The second seed stared defeat in the face before rallying to beat his Brazilian opponent At 0-4 down in the second, Roddick won six games in succession to square the match and then kicked on to book a quarter-final against Sargis Sargsian.
"A year ago I might have thrown my toys around, but I knew I had to make him work for it."
Sargsian earned his meeting with Roddick by upsetting sixth seed Jonas Bjorkman 1-6 6-3 The Armenian, watched by his 99-year-old grandfather, survived a match point in the decisive tie-break. He said: "I have no idea how I won that match. "Jonas had break points and missed what was an easy volley for him. I was lucky in the end." Set points Top seed Tommy Haas reached the last eight with a straight sets victory over American qualifier Justin Gimelstob. But the world number four had to survive three set points in the first before coming through to win 7-6(7) 6-2. The German now faces James Blake, a 6-2 4-6 6-3 winner over fellow American Taylor Dent.
In the women's semi-finals, American Alexandra Stevenson takes on Russia's Alina Jidkova, who beat top seed Amanda Coetzer in round two. The other match sees American Lisa Raymond face Japan's Ai Sugiyama.
