Anna Kournikova's comeback from injury stayed on course with a second round win over Daniela Hantuchova in the Seat Open in Luxembourg.

The Russian fifth seed breezed through the first set 6-1 but was taken to a tiebreak by the Slovak teenager before securing the second 7-6.

Fourth seed Anke Huber from Germany will play American Lisa Raymond in the third round after beating Cara Black in straight sets.

Germany's Huber, a winner here in 1996, eased past the Zimbabwean 6-1 6-1.

Meilen Tu battled past fellow American Jennifer Hopkins 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.

In Austria, second seed Justine Henin was a shock loser in the second round of the Generali Ladies WTA tournament in Linz.

Sanchez-Vicario: Beaten in three sets

The Belgian was beaten by Uzbekistan's Iroda Tulyaganova in three sets.

Henin won the first set on a tiebreak but was crushed 6-0 in the second and then lost the decider 6-3.

The 19-year-old Tulyaganova will meet Tatiana Panova in the quarter-finals.

Panova was another surprise winner, beating fifth seed Elena Dementieva 6-2 6-4.

Aranxta Sanchez-Vicario was another seed to fall.

The Spaniard, ranked eighth for the tournament, was beaten by former Wimbledon semi-finalist Alexandra Stevenson 6-3 3-6 6-0

Sixth seed Sandrine Testud of France beat Russia's Elena Likhovtseva 6-4 6-2.

Seventh seed Magdalena Maleeva of Bulgaria also won through to the next round, beating Japanese player Ai Sugiyama 1-6 6-3 6-1.
