Dokic set for Russian showdown
Dokic is the highest seed left in the event
Jelena Dokic dismissed Silvia Farina Elia in straight sets to earn her place in the final of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow.
Fifth-seeded Dokic took just over an hour to beat her Italian opponent 6-4 6-3. The Yugoslavian now faces a showdown with Elena Dementieva, who beat fellow Russian Anastasia Myskina 6-7 (7/9) 6-1 7-5. Dokic is the highest seed left in the event after top seed and defending champion Martina Hingis suffered a shock quarter-final defeat at the hands of Dementieva.
