Kournikova pulls out again
Kournikova reached a doubles final last week
Kournikova did reach a doubles final last week
Anna Kournikova has pulled out of next week's Rogers AT&T Cup in Toronto because of a recurring foot injury.

"I am extremely disappointed," said the Russian on Wednesday.

"Toronto is one of the favourite stops on the tour for the players and I am sorry to be missing it."

The 20-year-old sustained a stress fracture in her left foot in February and returned to action at the Acura Classic in California last week.

She lost in the first round of the singles but reached the doubles final with Martina Hingis.

However the pair then lost 6-4 1-6 6-4 to Cara Black and Elena Likhovtseva.

After that match, Kournikova, ranked 20th in the world, felt the soreness return in her foot, forcing her to withdraw from the estyle.com Classic, taking place in California this week.
