Tulyaganova takes title in Belgium
Leon Garcia shows off her backhand
Gala Leon Garcia had no answer to her Uzbekistan rival
Iroda Tulyaganova won her second tournament in a week when she overpowered Gala Leon Garcia on Sunday to take the Sanex Trophy at Knokke-Heist in Belgium.

The 19-year-old from Uzbekistan ground down her Spanish opponent, eight years her senior, with a combination of rasping forehands and two-fisted backhands to win 6-2 6-3.

It was Tulyaganova's second win in consecutive tournaments following her victory in the Vienna Grand Prix last Sunday.

Her only tournament win before that was the Tashkent Open in June 2000.

"I have had two wonderful weeks," Tulyaganova told the crowd after her triumph.

Tulyaganova - ranked number 34 in the world to Leon Garcia's 61st - quickly established her dominance, breaking her opponent's first service game to take a 2-0 lead.

Games then went with serve to 5-2, when Tulyaganova again broke Leon Garcia to take the first set 6-2.

In the second set, Tulyaganova started hesitantly, dropping her serve twice. But the tiring Leon Garcia's serve proved even more fragile as she was broken three times.

Tulyaganova, who beat Belgium's French Open finalist Kim Clijsters in the semi-final, sealed the match with a powerful forehand.
