HWC England 8-1 Switzerland
The Homeless World Cup is taking place in Edinburgh
The Homeless World Cup kicked off in Edinburgh on 18 July - and you can catch all the latest action from the tournament right here.

Four graduates from the BBC Tackling Skills project are reporting on all the games throughout the week-long tournament, which seee 32 countries and over 250 people taking part.

Here is a report from England v Switzerland.

England 8-1 Switzerland by Sean McCann

After an explosive start from England - Fernand Bass sent the first shot of the match over the bar - the Swiss put away the first goal of the game.

Then out of nowhere came Gary Whiteside to silence the Swiss.

After a Bass attempt was deflected of the keeper, Whiteside scorched the ball in to the back of the net.

There was some good defensive play from the Swiss but they couldn't hold back the shear willpower of Fernand as he rocketed one passed the keeper just before the half-time whistle.

The second half was just goal after goal as Whiteside found his form. After he put away another three goals for England, another from Fernand and one from Romeo, the Swiss just lost the will to continue.
