    Martin Cole, England

Were England too complacent against Albania?

Mark Bright: I don't think so within the team. When you play a team at the top you raise your game, when you play a team near the bottom it's more difficult to raise yourself falsely. In terms of qualifying for the World Cup, if we had of drawn that game tonight that would have been a disaster.

    Andrew Keeble, England

Do you think the footballing academies that were put into place a few years back are starting to reap the rewards for the English national team with the likes of Ashley Cole and Stephen Gerrard?

MB: There's no question. Lilleshall the first academy that first started that system has produced so many players. There's so much money in football now that most Premiership teams can afford to start up their own academies.

It's about getting the best coaching for the younger players and teaching them the right thing at an early stage. If you look at the under-21's and see how well they are doing the future is really looking good for England.

    Andrew Cock, England

I don't want to be negative on what is another great night for English football... but wasn't it a backwards step to call-up Ian Walker? Walker obviously wasn't going to play so why not give a younger goalie the chance to mix with the first team squad, someone like Liverpool new boy Chris Kirkland?

MB:Ian Walker has been in and around that squad for about six years, as Nigel Martyn had pulled out it makes sense to have someone who has had the experience. Why would you pull in a young lad and leave yourself vulnerable? If David Seaman had injured himself in the warm-up, which could happen, you would want to have someone experienced sitting on the bench.
