A Brett Ormerod double and a header from John Hills proved enough to send Blackpool to the Third Division play-off final.

It was Hartlepool's second successive play-off semi-final loss after their defeat to Darlington last season. Instead, the Seasiders meet Leyton Orient, who overcame Hull to ease onto the final.

Orient overturned a 1-0 first leg deficit through Steve Watts' headed opener and a sensational strike from Matt Lockwood to seal the victory.
