Well Livvy won the league but their SPL stint will be a short one. The've nicked all the best players from the other first division sides but it wont be enough. Look out for a Falkirk resurgence next season - with our young side learning all the time im sure we have a great chance.
Duncan McCulloch, Scotland

I am disgusted at the state of our nation's football
  Rory, Scotland
I would like to say that I am disgusted at the state of our nation's football, as my team, Morton, look like they are going under and others like Airdrie. However, I would also like to thank all those who are supporting the fighting funds to keep the real heart of Scottish football alive.
Rory, Scotland

It's got to be Thistle. With Hardie and McLean scoring freely, who can stop us? Stranraer will come up, then go down. QOS and Forfar will drop, and struggle to get back up.

All I can say is I hope Dundee come down, and Livvy better win the League.
Neil Martin, Scotland

I think no one will catch Livingston now but I think their life in the SPL will be short-lived. Alloa and Morton will go down, Airdrie will surprise everyone as long as the deal is done with Archibald.
Stephen Sinnett, Leeds, UK

I think Livingston will probably win the league, but only as they have been given a huge injection of cash to buy the better players, it should be interesting to see if they can compete in the Premier. As for the relegation battle, I think Airdrie will probably just about survive with Morton and Alloa going down.
Alan Gibb, England

Livingston are simply buying the league while others fight for survival
  Steven, Scotland
It has to go for Falkirk to win the league with Ayr being runners up . If Falkirk had the money that Livingston had, they would have had the league Won . What support has Livingston got apart from some unhappy jambos? Falkirk are the best supported team in thedivision by far .
Stephen Gardner , Scotland

Livingston are simply buying the league while others fight for survival. If any of the other clubs in the division had the resources of Livingston then the lead at the top would be greater.
Steven, Scotland

I think that Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Livinston will both get promoted but Caley will not go up due to their stadium. As a Caley fan, I have to say that Ross County will get relegated
Michael Grant, Scotland

Falkirk will win the league - it will be interesting to see how the promotion goes. Keep up the good work lads and show everyone that money is not necessarily going to guarantee success on the pitch.
The Bairn In Holland, Holland

Ayr Utd are too strong for the rest
  Robbie, Scotland
Ayr Utd are too strong for the rest. Dalziel is adding players like McEwan who Raith couldn't afford to keep. That's the difference.
Robbie, Scotland

My tip for the first division is Ayr United. They have purchased some really good players in the summer and it's just a matter of time before they click together. Pat McGinlay is a terrific singing as is James Grady. The dark horses? I think Morton will do well and at least get a place in the top four.
David Conn, Scotland

Livingston finished higher last year than anyone still in the First Division this year. I have no doubt that they will continue their good run and win the promotion. Only a couple of teams, Falkirk and Raith are good enough to stop them this year, with teams like Ayr, Ross County, Caley, Morton and Airdrie fighting it out for relegation.
Col Smith, Scotland

Livingston's management team will cost them the title
  Iain, Scotland
Livingston have lived up to their billing as favourites after a great start. Scott Crabbe and David Bingham have struck up a great partnership which looks like delivering a barrow-load of goals. The only challengers to Livvy will be Ayr and Falkirk and Clyde could be an outside bet.
Steven Kane, Scotland, Glasgow

I think that Raith Rovers will be relegated this season after the loss of such key players as Dider Agathe and Craig Dargo. They really do look to be in quite a bad way. My prediction for the title would have to be Falkirk as they were very strong last season and looked capable of handling themselves in the top flight.
Keith Steel, Scotland

I think Ayr will be too strong over the season. Our players have been there before and although our start has not been great, they will come good and lead from the front.
Gordon Clark, Scotland

Hopefully Inverness Caley Thistle can build a stadium to ensure SPL status, but this at present doesn't look to be likely. The playing squad on the whole are a decent standard, on par with Livingston, but not at present with the top half of the SPL. ICT need money to spend on players and a stadium. They have the fans and a manager which are the best in Scotland, so it's only the money and some top players they need.
Andy, UK

Ayr should win, but after their league cup debacle at Dumbarton I have my doubts. If we get it together quickly then we will run away with it. Livingston's management team will cost them the title.
Iain, Scotland
