If you want to really get involved with BBC Sport and help plan great services for the future then we want your help.
We plan to soon be able to offer a new service to sports fans who want to contribute and share content with the BBC.
Our principle aims are to provide a high quality service which is more distinctive than our current message boards and offers members a better range of ways to get involved.
We have outlined some of our plans to achieve this, such as enabling members to submit match reports and articles, which other members can then comment on. We will also provide member pages and, in time, privileges for trusted users.
You can read about our initial plans in more detail here:
Sport Editors' blog: You and BBC Sport - now and in the future
But what we are very keen to do right now is get a user group together to give us some vital constructive input while things are under development.
Ideally, we would like a range of fans of different sports, competitions and teams who would be willing to participate in the following ways:
- Test new features
- Participate in discussions by email
- Provide some content to populate the new service before it is made available to everyone
You don't have to be an internet expert but it would be helpful if you have a reasonable knowledge of online communities; both the BBC's and others.
If you are open-minded and keen to try new things and give us an honest opinion - we want you on board!
Thank you for all your emails. We have had a great response, receiving far more offers of help than there are spaces on the user group. We appreciate all the responses so far, and will be in touch with everyone as soon as possible.
