Your reaction to the Italian Grand Prix
Can anyone stop the Williams partnership of JP Montoya and Ralf Schumacher?
Colombia's Juan Pablo Montoya wins his first Grand Prix at Monza while McLaren have a disastrous day.

Send your reaction to the action.

The long straights of the Monza autodrome were tailor-made for the BMW-powered Williams, and Montoya and Ralph Schumacher did not disappoint.

Montoya traded the lead with a Rubens Barrichello no longer shackled by team requirements, but the Colombian stayed cool to hold on for victory.

Ralph Schumacher finished third while world champion Michael Schumacher finished fourth in his Ferrari.

Meanwhile, the McLaren duo of David Coulthard and Mika Hakkinen could manage only sixth and seventh respectively as mechanical failure again blighted their day.

Send your reactions to the Monza action.

Finally Juan got a reliable car. After so many efforts frustrated by mechanical failures. Day by day Juan has shown an incredible learning process with regards to the car set-up.

Ralf will not stand a chance against Juan next year. It is obvious that Ralf remains at Williams at the request of BMW. How good it would be to see a team, Juan and Jenson?

Ralf took five years and seventy grand prix before he reached his first win. Juan has taken less than a year, and fifteen grand prix.

Another race spoiled by a crass and totally irresponsible piece of driving. It's time F1 handed out three race bans to the culprits, whoever they are...On this occasion Jenson Button produces a totally irresponsible piece of driving.
Ian Jordan, Stourbridge UK

Brilliant Juan Pablo, so good to see a new face at the top of the podium.
Tony, UK

Barrichello was the man of the race and should have won it!
Paul, UK
Congratulations Juan Pablo - a most deserved win and about time too. However, am I alone in thinking that the sport I love has become so boring! The more races I see (on TV or in person) the more I'm convinced I'm watching a procession of very expensive cars. The laws have got to be changed to make motor racing more interesting to those that matter - the fans! OK, so we had some overtaking yesterday - the first in ages. Change the rules, change the way the budgets for the teams are allocated, change the circuits - but do it soon!
Cliff, Poland

Again the fuel rigs decided the outcome of the race. Barrichello was the man of the race and should have won it!
Paul, UK

Great! It was an absolute blast to finally see Montoya win. Also, the Williams car of Montoya was finally able to make it across to the finish line without any hiccups. Now Williams are hot favourites for next year's Championship.
Chandresh Kedhambadi, USA

Congratulations to "The Squirrel" on a well deserved win. About time too!
David Read, UK

Bravo, Juan Pablo. It was time to win! JPM has finally demonstrated that he's one of the best pilots in F1. You'd better stay awake Michael!
German Rodriguez, Colombia

Congratulations Juan Pablo, a nice convincing win, and about time too. Glad your car held up, and you managed to beat the lighter Ferrari's with their two stop strategy.
Gary, England

VIVA JUAN PABLO MONTOYA! I think next year JPM will be fighting for the championship. He is a natural racer and has the ability to take it. Congratulations Juan, you made us happy today.
Andres Rey, Colombia
