Premiership predictions
BBC Sport Online's Premiership predictions appear to have rubbed some of you up the wrong way.

Paul from Liverpool reckons we "couldn't predict the outcome of a fight between Mike Tyson and Wayne Sleep". Stinging words, but we at BBC Sport Online want to give more of you the chance to spit vitriol on our forecasts. Sit back, take a deep breath, and explain to us how silly we've been. E-mail us now.
Biff Dholey clearly has an encyclopaedic knowledge of football, with gems like "Derby must be another certainty to go down. Ravanelli sucks eggs when it comes to football, and they have got rid of their only goalscorer, Delap.". Ravanelli has class, and that never fades - as for Delap, he scored one goal last season, which even 'neon' Deon Burton managed to exceed. I hope he's put his mortgage on West Ham staying up - I look forward to his tales of destitution come May!
Your predictions seem to be formulated like so many others. Just tot up the market value of the squad and that must reflect their league position, no account taken of managerial input, settled squads etc.
Hence, every year the lies of Spurs and Newcastle are tipped for greatness and the likes of Ipswich and Leicester tipped to struggle.
Oh, and by the way you've predicted four sides to finish in the top three. Is this inflation?
Your prediction that Fulham will finish eighth is total garbage. On what absurd notion do you base this piece of fantasy football?
Spurs are on the way back. Glenn Hoddle will bring the glory days back to the Lane and reward the long suffering Spurs faithful with good football. Spurs are the bigger club in North London and will soon justify that with a league position to match. 36,000 full house for Bill Nicks Testimonial, why could Arsenal only manage 12,000 for Tony Adams a couple of seasons back?
Southampton have been in the top flight of English football for over 20 years and every year it's the same muppets predicting relegation for them. When will you so called 'experts' learn??
Leeds will win the Premier League this season because they have Robbie Keane, Viduka, Bridges, Smith and Kewell.
Do me a favor. Ipswich have strengthened their squad and whilst they may not finish as high, bottom half is nonsense.
Why is nobody predicting Blackburn Moneybags Rovers could be relegated? Graeme Souness has not yet built a team since he moved into management. Obviously his success in Scotland will be used as an argument against this but his job in Scotland involved beating one team, Celtic, hardly one of World Football's greatest managerial achievements.
I reckon your predictions are pretty well founded and objective, rather than based on many would-be pundits' flights of fancy for their own teams. A lot of people are getting carried away with understandable (but largely misplaced) pre-season optimism. Still, the more I see Arsenal's chances being downplayed, the better!
I think you are being a touch generous to Leicester. With a couple of exceptions, notably Elliot and Izzet, their side is mediocre throughout. What happened to all the money they received from the sale of Heskey and Lennon? I think Peter Taylor's transfer judgement must be called into question. Their strikeforce would look average in the First Division and I think they'll struggle to score goals. Snowcroft will help but he's never going to be prolific. Prediction: Just avoid relegation.
I don't agree at all with your prediction that Bolton Wanderers will finish 'Rock Bottom'. OK, we have only spent £650,000 on players, but people seem to forget that Djibril Diawara and Akinori Nishizawa have come in on loan. Those two players would have probably cost us £8m if we had signed them, so who knows, they could make the difference.
The other point that the media forget is that Sam Allardyce has got the Wanderers into the Premiership selling nearly £10m of players and only using £2m of that to bring in Ricketts and Frandsen. How much did Blackburn spend last season? They finished only four points ahead, so money isn't everything. I'm sure Sam and the boys can keep us up, and show the media that we aren't the whipping boys that you are making us out to be.
You are underestimating the chances of Leeds and Chelsea as title contenders. The constant talk about Arsenal and Liverpool being behind Man Utd is ridiculous. All those teams have Champions League commitments and this will allow Leeds and Chelsea to steel in and split them up from that order. Also, am I the only person in the world who thinks that Ipswich could end up in a relegation fight or at least the lower half of mid-table this season?
At the other end, West Ham will NOT get relegated this year, and even my girlfriend, who knows little about football, is surprised by your prediction here. Bolton are favourites to go down, and I think this is fair enough, but they will be fighting until the last week. Derby must be another certainty to go down. Ravanelli sucks eggs when it comes to football, and they have got rid of their only goalscorer, Delap.
Your other prediction, Everton, will find it hard this season, but have a fighting chance of staying up. I think Leicester may run into trouble this year as they are certain to lose Elliot, who is the backbone of the team, to Celtic. I also think Aston Villa are highly likely to struggle this year. However, Southamption should be safe as they have quite a decent squad as long as they hold on Richards. Spurs look fine this year as do Newcastle and Fulham. Middlesborough have certainly strengthened their team but are always unpredictable. And that's it!
