Ulster ready for action?
Ulster, with a new coach and regime in place, will start their Celtic League programme in confident mood.

Can Ulster revive memories of their European Cup odyssey of 1999?

HAVE YOUR SAY

Harry Williams has gone, leaving a legacy that new director of rugby Alan Solomons may find hard to surpass.

Solomons takes over at the dawn of a new era, and observers are wondering whether the Celtic League will benefit Irish rugby and how Ulster will cope.

Winning the European Cup was beyond everyone's dreams, but can new man Alan Solomons bring home the bacon?

Do you think Ulster have a strong enough squad to make the Celtic League play-offs, or force their way into the Heineken Cup quarter-finals?

Should Andy Ward have taken over the captaincy from David Humphreys? And do you think Ulster should remain at Ravenhill, their traditional home?

Are Ulster ready for battle in the Celtic League? Send us your thoughts.

Great to see the Irish teams in the competition. They have proved that they are highly competitive in the Heineken Cup and a regular diet of encounters should provide excellent top-level rugby for Welsh and Scottish teams. Ulster look very strong this season. Andy Ward will make a great captain, and having watched him in the past, he will lead from the front. And what is this about Ulster leaving Ravenhill? It is worth at least nine points to Ulster - why leave? Here's to a good tournament.
