Eight Sunday SFL games called off

Football in snow
Scottish football has been hit again by the freezing weather

Eight Scottish Football League matches are now off because of frozen pitches after three more Sunday were postponed following morning pitch inspections.

East Fife v Peterhead in Division Two, plus Albion Rovers v Queen's Park and Annan Athletic v Stranraer in Division Three, will now be rescheduled.

But Ayr United v Dumbarton in Division Two survived its inspection.

Five games had already been postponed on Friday and the backlog of Scottish matches has now reached 83.

Cowdenbeath's First Division clash with Queen of the South was called off along with Morton's match with Partick Thistle.

In the Second Division, Forfar's hosting of Brechin and Airdrie's trip to Livingston were both postponed.

The Third Division match between Clyde and Berwick was also off.

That leaves three matches going ahead in Division One, two in Division Two and one in Division Three.
