Cyclist Graeme Obree among six athletes in Hall of Fame
Graeme Obree twice broke the world hour record on his famous bike Old Faithful
Sportscotland has inducted a further six athletes into the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame.
Cyclist Graeme Obree joins equestrian rider Ian Stark, while Graeme Randall is inducted for his career in judo along with lawn bowler Richard Corsie.
The late Steve Hislop is honoured for his achievements in motorcycling and KG MacLeod, who died in 1967, is inducted for cricket and rugby.
It brings to 88 the number of sportsmen and women in the Hall of Fame.
Obree, 44, nicknamed The Flying Scotsman after he broke the hour time trial record on a bicycle he built himself from washing machine parts, broke the world hour record twice but retired from top-level cycling in 2001.
"It's a great honour. It's there for ever, and apart from anything else, it will be a good night out," Obree told BBC Radio Scotland.
"I was going to have another go at the hour record, which didn't work out because the bike design and the size of British tracks meant it wasn't really do-able.
"I've got that out my system and I've now properly retired.
"I keep myself fit so that I can ride out with the club guys. It's a good lifestyle to keep fit and healthy. I want to encourage people to do sport."
Randall became only the second British male to hold a world judo title in 1999 and took gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
Galashiels-born Ian Stark won four silver medals at three different Olympic Games for eventing - first in 1984 and his last in Sydney in 2000.
Corsie is considered one of the top lawn bowlers of all time, winning the World Indoor Singles bowls championship three times during his career and taking gold in the 1994 Commonwealth Games.
TT racer Hislop, who died in a helicopter crash in 2003, won the British Superbike championship twice and recorded 11 Isle of Man TT victories.
And KG MacLeod's career spanned four sports: including earning 10 rugby caps for Scotland, playing cricket for Lancashire, turning out for Manchester City FC and winning the Amateur Golf Championship of Natal.
