Katie Still presents Sports Weekly every Saturday with John Beattie

Every week, Sports Weekly presenter Katie Still provides a comprehensive round-up of the top sporting events around Scotland.

This week's events all take place from Friday 6 July until Saturday 14 July.

In hockey Scotland's men are in Moscow for a 4 nations invitational tournament, having already beaten Ukraine 6-3, they will now play Pakistan on Friday and then take on Russia.

Europe's best youth hockey talent will be in Edinburgh at Peffermill from Monday in the EuroHockey Youth Nations Championships. The event will showcase 10 countries at top-flight level, and for the first time will combine the Boys' and Girls' events.

In the shinty premier league, among the fixtures are Fort William against Strathglass and Locharber take on Kilmallie. And 34 of Scotland's most promising under-17-year-old shinty players will travel to Ireland on Saturday for a three-day competitive tour, culminating in challenge matches against the Dublin under-17 Development Squad.

In speedway, the Edinburgh Monarchs travel to Sommerset on Wednesday to take on the rebels.

There is a bumper entry of 102 horses at Ayr Racecourse on Saturday as the heavy rain continues to disrupt racing in the south. The first race is off at 1420.

The Isle of Harris half marathon takes place in Tarbert on Saturday, starting at 1300BST.

And finally, in swimming the Scottish Grand Prix Open water race takes place in Loch Earn.
