Wasps swoop for Ferguson
Derek Ferguson was player-boss with Clydebank
Division One newcomers Alloa Athletic have snapped up former Rangers and Scotland midfielder Derek Ferguson.
Ferguson was player-manager with Clydebank last season but will revert back to his playing duties at Recreation Park. Wasps manager Terry Christie said: "I'm delighted to get Derek. He's 34 but a very fit 34." Ferguson has been a much-travelled player and can count Sunderland and Partick Thistle among the 10 senior clubs he has featured for.
